Desert Ghost Distilling Co. makes small-batch Texas Whiskey and Bourbon. Our spirits are born from a 100-gallon pot still and placed in custom oak barrels to age in one of the most remote places in North America. Only the strong and determined survive in this desert, the Big Bend country of Texas. Cached and left to age in the high desert, our bourbon and whiskey achieve a unique flavor only the desert can provide.
Desert Ghost proudly serves The Bastard Bourbon (our flagship brand), Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Honey Bourbon (made with Honey harvested locally in Marathon, Texas), and our triple-distilled Vodka. The bar will offer whiskey flights, hand-crafted cocktails, and amazing sunsets from our patio.
The Origin of the Company : Our Roots Run Deep
In the 1880s, Benjamin Franklin Roberts (great grandfather of founder Cody Roberts) was carving out a life in the unforgiving Texas desert, moving cattle and horses back and forth across the border. He distilled his family’s original whiskey to barter with the Mexicans, Soldiers, and Indians that inhabited this remote area. After six generations, his spirit returns to the desert in the Desert Ghost Distillery where we proudly serve friends and visitors alike.
